Becoming a member of Urasenke Philadelphia is a great way to stay in touch with the tea ceremony community in this area. If you are a member of the association at any level, you will automatically receive invitations to all association events as well as newsletters by mail and/or e-mail. You may also choose to receive newsletters from Urasenke headquarters in English or Japanese, or to subscribe to Japanese-language tea publications. If you're not actively taking lessons (or if you've never studied at all) but would like to come and share tea with us, becoming an associate member will keep you on our contact list. We have several types of membership:
Urasenke Philadelphia is a 501(c)3 nonprofit association, and any additional donations will not only make us smile, but are tax-deductible. If you'd like to donate money, just click on the button below. You can join in one of two ways: 1. Download our membership form and mail in it with the membership fee (if you have any problems downloading the form, e-mail us at urasenkepa@gmail.com and we'll send one to you). Membership Form 2.
